The Celebration Choir, was formed in 2014. The choir is lead by Colin Williams a renowned and popular UK-based gospel singer, song-writer, director and backing vocalist. The Celebration Choir includes a wealth of talented and anointed singers from across the Yorkshire and Pennine regions. 

 

Affectionately known as CC, were initially formed in 2014 to sing at just three events (New Testament Church Of God Bradford and Leeds Gospel Celebrations plus the famous Leeds Caribbean Festival), the choir is establishing itself after numerous requests to minister at events in Poland and at the Manchester International Gospel Festival, The New York International Gospel Festival in 2017 and 2018, sharing the stage with gospel greats such as Dr Richard Hartley, The Tokyo Mass & Soulmatics Choir, Dorinda Clark Cole (of The Clark Sisters fame) and Gospel Newcomer Vincent Bohanan. 

 

Colin Williams, director, who has amongst other roles in the gospel music genre, lead the former United Voices Concert Choir (UVCC) and United Voices Youth Chorale (UVYC). 

Colin is increasingly in demand across Europe at gospel workshops and concerts, has forged links with the choirs in Europe and has hosted The Krakow Gospel Choir in the UK recently.

 

The Celebration Choir sing at church praise events, concerts, cultural events, weddings and other settings.

The aim, as they sing is to celebrate music as they celebrate Christ.
